Вполне ожидаемо, после помешательства на эстетике Y2K в моду возвращается готический стиль, переосмысленный и более гламурный. Его еще называют neo-gothic style, gothic glamour. Казалось бы, этот стиль никуда не уходил, невозможно вспомнить ни одного сезона без элементов готики или гранжа... Но сейчас это не просто еще один мимолетный тренд очередного сезона. История делает новый виток - мода на субкультуры возвращается, но уже в новом обличии, переосмысленная и дополненная. 

Not surprising at all, that after the Y2K aesthetics obsession, gothic style is the new black. Given a new meaning, a more glamorous one. It's also called neo-gothic style, gothic glamor. Well, of course, this kind of aesthetic could never be called outdated, I can't remember a single fashion season without grunge or gothic elements... But now it's not just one more micro trend of one more season. History repeats itself and the subculture fashion is back again, but with its new meaning, reimagined, redefined.

В последнее время мне часто нравится пересматривать съемки и показы эпохи супермоделей. И, конечно же, образы самих супермоделей! Надо признать, что эти девушки пронесли чувство стиля сквозь годы и наблюдать за их новыми выходами не менее интересно, чем изучать архивные фото. Я решила, почему бы в рубрике, посвященной иконам стиля, не пройтись по самым ярким супермоделям... Начнем одной из самых ныне "активных" из них - Кейт Мосс!

 These days I've been very much into the supermodel's era. I love watching the shows, the photographs. And, of course, the supermodels' outfits! I must admit these women brought this sense of style through the years and now watching their fresh looks is not less exciting than their archival photos. Необычный для меня образ, но вполне уместный в театре. Платье фасона babydoll это не обязательно по-девчачьи наивно или нарочито кукольно. Здесь может быть и тонкая самоирония, как, например, в случае с моим платьем House of Holland. Принт в виде "гербов" это мило и немного иронично :)

Unusual for me but absolutely appropriate at the theatre outfit. A babydoll dress doesn't have to be naive in a girlish way, or too childish. There can also be some self-irony, like with my House of Holland dress. The emblem-printed dress - that's really cute and even ironic a bit :)

Идеальный образ для меня это лаконичные вещи черного или белого цвета, подчеркивающие фигуру, и эффектная обувь на шпильке. Все гениальное просто. Этот лук составленный именно по такому правилу, это еще и сочетание вещей от моих любимых брендов - Chanel, Saint Laurent, Tom Ford. 

A perfect outfit for me is versatile black or white pieces which flatter your figure and extraordinary high heels. The greatest ideas are the simplest. This outfit which absolutely follows this rule is also a combination of my favorite brands - Chanel, Saint Laurent, Tom Ford.

Мой самый любимый цвет - красный, и я просто не могу представить себя без него! Несмотря на мою бесконечную любовь к маленьким (и не только) черным платьям, отдельное место в моем сердце и в моем гардеробе занимают красные платья разной длины, всевозможных фасонов... I love keeping on finding out more Russian fashion brands! So, my latest find is Munique, a brand which makes the most beautiful and comfortable corsets ever.

Давно не было личных, “философских” постов. Обычно так бывает, когда в жизни наступает полная идиллия, абсолютное счастье. Хотелось бы посетовать на что-то (я ведь творческий человек, как же без этого!), но нет. Сетовать я не буду. В моей жизни сейчас самая настоящая идиллия, полная тихого счастья, наслаждения жизнью и любви к людям. За последний год, даже полгода у меня сильно изменился круг общения. Рядом со мной стало больше светлых и чистых людей. С кем-то я стала реже видеться, а с кем-то жизнь и вовсе развела наши пути. Хорошо это или плохо, я не знаю, но лично я всем довольна.

Have been no personal “philosophy” posts for a while. Generally it happens when there’s an idyll and total happiness in someone’s life. I’d love to tell you I’m upset about something (as I’m a creative person, so, how can it be without drama!), but nope. I won’t complain about anything. Everything is literally perfect in my life, there’s an idyll full of quiet happiness, enjoying this life and loving people. During this one or one and a half year I’ve changed the people around me. There are more pure and kind people around me now. There are those former friends whom I don’t see that often now, those whom I gave up seeing at all. Whether it’s good or not, I don’t know, but I’m happy about everything.

А именно потрясающей красоты корсеты, которые стали основой стиля бренда. Винтажные корсеты Vivienne Westwood стоят весьма немалых денег, как ювелирное украшение. Это редкие коллекционные вещи, скорее, даже объекты. Настоящие произведения искусства. Недавно я впервые примерила винтажный корсет Vivienne Westwood и он никак не покидает мой разум. Чувствую, скоро в моем гардеробе появится еще один collector vintage piece! 

The brand which I'm currently excited about... and past collections of which are some kind of true inspiration for me... it is Vivienne Westwood! Especially the brand's iconic corsets which are incredibly beautiful. Vivienne Westwood vintage corsets cost a lot, like a fine jewelry piece. These are rare collectible items. I'd call them pieces of art. I've recently tried a Vivienne Westwood vintage corsets and I'm thinking about it all the time. Looks like there's a new collector vintage piece coming to my wardrobe!
