Рождественские ярмарки, балет, уютные вечера за просмотром новогодних фильмов, горячий чай. Обожаю эту зимнюю эстетику и праздничное настроение!

The most wonderful, my favorite time of the year! So, this year my December is very very calm and relaxing (as much as it is possible for December), no stress at all. Christmas markets, ballet, cozy movie evenings, hot tea. I adore this winter aesthetic and festive mood!

Warm weather may have been spoiling us for a long time, but now we have to admit it's finally fall and it's time to dress warmer... I'm 100% ready for the colder season. Have just returned back from Saint Petersburg where I spent my few-day holidays and now I'm sorting out the photos... So, sharing some photos with you :)

Я бесконечно люблю красивые жакеты... А еще в моем гардеробе есть и комплекты, жакет + юбка. Недавно у меня появился такой нежный и трогательный комплект от российского бренда Alexandra Zamotorina. Жакет и юбочка в очень милом карамельно-розовом оттенке. Мне очень нравится! В стиле Блэр Уолдорф, а каждую осень, когда я начинаю скучать по Нью-Йорку еще больше, так и хочется пересматривать "Сплетницу" и вдохновляться стилем преппи и луками Блэр!

I adore beautiful classic jackets... And also there are some ensembles in my wardrobe, a jacket and skirt sets. I've recently got this lovely and feminine set by Russian brand Alexandra Zamotorina. Both the jacket and the skirt are in a very sweet candy pink shade. I just love it! It's so Blair Waldorf... And every autumn when I start missing NYC even more, I feel like watching "Gossip girl" on repeat and getting inspired by this preppy style and Blair's looks!

Даже не верится, что уже середина сентября... И, хотя погода нас радует абсолютно летней жарой, готовить гардероб к осени все равно нужно! :)

Я всегда за хорошие базовые вещи, а не за короткие тренды. А в этом сезоне все самое актуальное как раз про timeless pieces, лаконичные и простые вещи... demure style, который можно назвать и скромным и лаконичным. В общем, хорошая база на все времена это и есть главный тренд, как бы забавно это ни звучало!

Can't believe it's already the middle of September... And despite the weather being like summer and spoiling us, we still have to prepare our wardrobe for fall! :)

I'm always team good basics, not short trends. And in this season all the most essential and hot pieces are the timeless ones, laid-back and simple, the definition of demure style which is both modest and very versatile. So, it might sound funny, but good basics is the main trend!

I've just realized that I still haven't posted this shooting (the most beautiful one I've had in 2023!) here yet... So, I have to fix that before I have my next shooting! 

Well, it is inspired by film-noir movies, Saint Laurent aesthetic. Which outfit do you like most of all?

Вполне ожидаемо, после помешательства на эстетике Y2K в моду возвращается готический стиль, переосмысленный и более гламурный. Его еще называют neo-gothic style, gothic glamour. Казалось бы, этот стиль никуда не уходил, невозможно вспомнить ни одного сезона без элементов готики или гранжа... Но сейчас это не просто еще один мимолетный тренд очередного сезона. История делает новый виток - мода на субкультуры возвращается, но уже в новом обличии, переосмысленная и дополненная. 

Not surprising at all, that after the Y2K aesthetics obsession, gothic style is the new black. Given a new meaning, a more glamorous one. It's also called neo-gothic style, gothic glamor. Well, of course, this kind of aesthetic could never be called outdated, I can't remember a single fashion season without grunge or gothic elements... But now it's not just one more micro trend of one more season. History repeats itself and the subculture fashion is back again, but with its new meaning, reimagined, redefined.

Просто замечательно провела время в Коломне... Отличное место для поездки на выходных! Нам очень повезло с погодой, было по-летнему солнечно!

Решила, что не могу не написать отдельный пост про эту небольшую поездку!

Had some perfect time in Kolomna... A very nice weekend trip destination! We were quite lucky with the weather, it was sunny like in summer!

So, I decided I had to make an entire post about this little trip!

Я часто упоминаю о том, что новые вещи покупаю по принципу 80/20. 80 это базовые вещи, классика, монохром. То есть это классические жакеты, юбки, блузки, лаконичные платья, сюда же все тонкие босоножки, балетки… А вот 20 это уже полная свобода самовыражения. Это леопардовые куртки, платья в пайетках, корсеты из экзотической кожи, из кружева, перья, бахрома, туфли в кристаллах, лаковые ботфорты… 

Но, помимо этого правила, у меня есть еще “фишки” касаемо планирования своего гардероба и стиля. Я всегда составляю мудборд, пишу список вещей на следующий сезон (разумеется, в течение сезона его можно корректировать, что-то вычеркивать или вносить по ходу дела) и обязательно собираю коллажи-луки. Расскажу поподробнее…

I always tell you that I shop for new clothes according to the 80/20 principle. 80 is about basics, classic pieces and monochrome style. I mean it’s classic jackets, skirts, blouses, laid-back yet chic dresses, also some simple thin sandals, ballerina flats… And 20 is the freedom of creativity. It’s all about leopard jackets, sequined dresses, exotic leather corsets, lace ones, feathers, fringes, shoes with crystals, patent leather high boots… 

But besides this rule, I have some more tips on how to plan your wardrobe and style. I always make up a moodboard, write down a list of things for the next season (of course, I can edit it later, add something or delete) and always make up some collages of how an outfit should look like. Let me tell you more about it… 

Лето еще не заканчивается, а ранняя осень это по-прежнему время интересных деталей, экспериментов, поездок на море или возвращения к активной культурной жизни... Так что советую освежить свой стиль новыми украшениями!

После недавно прошедшей Недели высокой моды и всех виральных подиумных образов, луков звездных гостей интерес к haute couture, кажется возрос более, чем когда-либо. Интересоваться это одно, а носить кутюрные вещи это совсем другое. Next level, так сказать. Единственный раз в жизни я надевала вещи haute couture для съемки в студии одного из Домов в Париже. Это было непередаваемо, в прямом смысле слова! Платья были такими тяжелыми, что казалось, что я вот-вот упаду... Мечтаю ли я о том, чтобы у меня были мои личные вещи haute couture? Я совру, если скажу, что нет!

Что делать, если вы не относитесь к очень-очень небольшому числу людей, которые могут позволить себе обладать вещами haute couture? Вспомнить о винтажном и архивном кутюре. Вот именно эта тема для меня сейчас особенно интересна!

After the Haute couture Fashion week, all the viral runway looks and celebrity guests' outfits looks like everyone is very excited about haute couture in general. Being interested is one thing, while trying or wearing an haute couture piece is the so-called next level. The only time I put on some haute couture pieces was in Paris, a few years ago, it was a shooting at one Maison's studio. It was literally unforgettable - the dresses were so heavy, I thought I was going to fall... Am I dreaming of possessing my own haute couture pieces? Well, if I say no, it would be a very bad lie!

What can you do if you're not one of those super few people who are lucky to be able to have haute couture made for them personally? To think of vintage and archival haute couture. That's the theme that I'm very excited about now!

На прошлой неделе мы с мамой ходили на показ в Третьяковском проезде, мне хотелось надеть что-то особенное... Решила, что это будет этот винтажный жакет Gucci из коллекции 2001 года, авторства Тома Форда. И юбочка Gucci, из того же винтажного проекта, но более поздних лет, конца 2000-х годов.

За что я люблю хороший винтаж, так это за timeless style! Разве догадаешься, что этому жакету уже больше 20 лет?

Last week my mom and I attended the fashion show at Tretyakov Lane and I felt like wearing something special... I decided it would be a vintage Gucci jacket from the 2001 collection, by Tom Ford. And also a Gucci skirt, from the same vintage store, but from a later epoch, late 2000's.

The reason to love good vintage is that it's all about timeless style! Would you understand this jacket is 20+ years old if I didn't tell you that?
